So how many of you have a build thread on R2R? If you do not have why, how come? If you do have one link it!

Im a newbie to the hobby, but I did start a build thread. It doesnt seem too popular though. Did I post it in the wrong section? Wish there was a way to modify the title.. My lfs said they couldnt order a 75g, so they ordered me a 90g for the same price..

Nope you posted it in the right area! That's kind of why I did this poll, I know there are a lot of great tanks that do not get much notice and I thought this might be a good way to show them off! As for the title just shoot a PM to a mod(Team R2R) and they should be able to help.

I can't wait to start one. I am still in the "gathering equipment and materials" phase, so I think it might be boring. Maybe I should start it anyways to show its okay to take months to start up your first tank....?

You should! Its also a great way to get other peoples opinions on your set up, maybe you could get ideas that you have not thought about before. There are lots of reason to start one and few reason to not start one!!

Don't have one myself on my current tank as I found this forum after the tank had been up and going for a while. But next tank I do I'll have a build thread for those interested. But I do have a spec thread:

My build thread primarily focused on building the stand and canopy, but then evolved into the other areas of setting up a reef tank.
Since I haven't had to do too much upgrading equipment-wise, it has transitioned into a thread focusing on the fish, inverts and corals.

I have a new nano build that has been slowly coming along. I suppose I could start start a thread for that one.

I have a build thread for only one of my 3 tanks. I have a 140 and two DIY nano tanks. This is the thread for my smallest project. I call it Pirate's Reef. I haven't updated it in a while, because of life getting in the way. Hope to get back on it soon though. You won't see many like this one - and maybe that is a good thing.
