Building a fish room in my (crawl space ) basement

I'm doing something similar. My basement is under 6ft tall, luckily I'm only 5'7" so.i can stand up... im moving my sump and all equipment down there. And setting up a frag and holding tank as well.

What part of the country are you in? Any concerns with radon gas? Here in the north east most all basements and or crawl spaces at least have to consider it.

dang the OP @me & my baby really needs to update this post! i have done basically the exact same thing and i am mid-build. i would love some updates or "wish i would have done"'s.

Sorry for the long time not updating . I got seriously sick the last year and was down for almost 8 months . My crawspace is closed . I did have a dehumidifier and it worked like a charm . But unfortunately do to my sickness I am leaving the hobby once again sorry for the delayed response
