I'm considering building a glass aquarium, but I'm wondering....how hard is it going to be? I'm thinking a 12inX12inX12in cube, max, probably more like 8x8x8-12, and buying the glass precut. But I want it AIO, so then I'd have to do the overflow, and plumb it, etc...
I'm 16, and have no tools, so I'm trying to figure out if this is something I can pull off or not. I really want a small pico for my bedside table, but I don't have a arm or a leg to spend on it, sooo.........
Is it do-able, safely, in a way that won't have me screaming, and affordably? Thanks!
Thanks!

ps-my spell check isn't working, and i'm really tired, so if i missed any words....sorry!

I would consider buying a used acrylic tank, and buffing/modding it to your liking. Without DIY experience, I wouldn't recommend it... I've cut myself pretty bad working with glass.

Yeah I used to repair tanks and if I could show you some of the gashes ive had on my hands and arms you wouldnt even consider this. Once I was unsealing a 180 gallon tank and pulling off the front sheet of glass I thought it was loose and gave it a tug well the untempered glass shot back at me and broke 3 ribs. Like Kraylen said buy a good acrylic tank or glass you can find them cheap through a local reef club or craigslist glass is unforgiving lol

you can buy the glass 2 gallon tanks at the store for only 15 bucks. they are about the size your looking for and very easy to drill if you wanted to. the tank size your talking about is not worth doing DIY. much cheaper to buy in the end unless your just looking for the fun of doing it, i see your in florida so depending on where i'm sure i even have something hanging around you can have
