Building a new tank

So I just got a new tank so how long do I have to wait before adding fish from my old tank into the new? Is there any tricks to making an easy transfer over?

I might move the fish to the new system with some or all of the old water. Do you have live rock and corals to move as well, or just fish?

Yes I have corals and live rock as well.
