So I have a 54 gallon Aqueon tank that I have seriously modded to turn in to a reef tank. I have gotten to the point where I build the sump to go underneath the annoyingly small corner stand. It will perfectly hold a 10 gallon aquarium underneath it however there isn't a lot you can do with a 10 gallon aquarium. So what I am thinking is build what is basically a 10 gallon tank(a few inches taller of course)to house the filter socks from inlet drains, protein skimmer and return pump. BUT down the side of it build another section to act as the refugium. So it would drain into the filter socks, over a baffle into the protein skimmer compartment, then go left (into the added fuge compartment), at the end of the fuge it would go back to the right tank where the return pump is and send it back up the the display tank. I know that sound a bit odd but in my head it is a really simple layout. I will try to sketch something up so you can get a visual of what I'm thinking. Any idea or input are welcome. Also if you have a sump in a corner stand pictures will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your help guys..

Other than the fact that it looks like a kindergartener did it, lol. This I the general idea that I have in my head.. obviously it is not to scale. Measurements will be in the area of 20" long by 11" wide by 16" high. The fuge will be another 10" wide by probably 15" long. I don't know the exact math but that a general idea. Thoughts?
