This is the first built in filtration system I’ve had. I have a couple questions about it. I will not have corals in this tank. I will have a sand bed and a good cleanup crew. I also have a canister filter that will most be using.

  1. What should I use as far as filtration and in what order?
  2. How well do these usually work?
  3. What should I run in my canister?
  4. Can I do some sort of refugium in the filtration?
  5. Where would I put a skimmer?

Skimmer needs to be a HOB.

Hang on reactors such as a phosban reactor with a small pump would work for media such as GFO or GAC.
