Built My Own Canopy

Decided I didn’t want to pay $600-$800 for a canopy, so I looked at the construction of the ones on my 165 and my 125 and thought I would give it a shot. I have $210, and about 6 hours into it, and I’m pretty happy. Still want to take it down and sand it again and try to get a better finish. It fits my new 180 perfectly and it’s tall enough to mount my LEDS inside of it. I left a vent channel to allow for the heat to escape. I’m taking my time on this build. Already have all my sump equipment, and will get my wave makers this month. Need to do the plumbing, then I will fill and start cycling in the dark. Probably get the lights in September.

CAN I GET YOU TO BUILD ME THREE PANEL CANOPY FOR MY 93G CUBE?? TANK IS 30 x 30' AND YOU CAN SHIP THE PANELS AND I WILL CONNECT THEM UPON RECIEPT. THE BACK CAN BE WIDE OPEN BUT WILL NEED TO BE BRACED WITH 1x2"

Refinished, and installed. Filled the tank with water and starting to cycle. Can anyone say “kid in a candy store”?

Looks good. If I didn’t know you built it would’ve thought you bought it as a complete set up
