hello. I'm running 2-250 watt double ended MH and 4 acnic. So I changed all. The ancinnic is fine. Buitifull. Well the 250,s are bluish. They are 20k. Any help on the color would be great. Thank you.

Were the ones you took out 20k?
I ran 14k when I was running MH with actinics
Also you can change your actinics to a different spectrum as that might be cheaper to change tank color.

If it was me. I would change the halide to either a 10 k or a 14 k and run 2 blue t5 and 2 actinic t5.
If you want to change just t5. Depending on brand if bulbs just pull the blue and change to a whiter bulb

I got tired of changing out the bulbs constantly so I switched to LED's, tank is doing outstanding, with great continuous growth. I don't have to worry about the tank being blue for 2 months and then not blue for another 4 months.
To each there own though. I did very well with the set up Jeremy shared above. I think it was the aquaticlife light system. Great set up over my 150d, gave plenty of punch to get all the way down.
