bulb cleaning tips

Anybody got any tips on how to get salt spray of MH bulbs? I've scrubbed my heart out any that stuff won't come off.

Basically, the only thing that will get it all off would ruin the bulb. You can get a major portion off by using a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water followed by a wipe down with isopropyl alchohol. This has to be done when they are completely cooled off.

I use straight distilled white vinegar, no dilution is needed since it is 100% safe, and a scotch brite pad.

+1 I just soak a towel with straight vinegar and wipe them down. I try to wipe them down at least every other week if not every week. They are much easier to clean. I even cleaned them while still in the reflector a couple times.
