I have a 150w MH bulb that I'm looking to replace.

Here's what I'm looking at:

1. Phoenix 14k (currently running)
2. Aquaconnects 14k
3. Radiums 20k
4. Aquamaxx 14K

If you have used these bulbs before, I'd love to hear your opinions (Par, colour, cost, lifespan, etc.) From what I've read, the radiums have a higher par output on the phoenix but the aquaconnects have have more par than the phoenix and radium. Aquamaxx is the bulb I'm not too familiar with, but I read the colour is sort of like medium between phoenix and radiums.

So don't be shy, I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks in advance!

phoenix are always a safe bet, but i hear good things about the radiums as well, though i've never seen the 150w in person.

i know thats not much help.

I had 2 current 150w 10ks and 4 griesman bluet5's. I read ever review that I could find when I was getting near bulb replacement. Some days I was beside my self. I like the bright white but wanted more color in my corals. Well i ended up with the radium 150's they give the white I wanted and the coral enhancement I wanted. Im am not much for a real blue look it does not look natural to me. I have found no change in coral growth. My current fixture sits on legs about 4" above the water and tank depth is about 13" deep. It is all about personal taste.
Down side is that the bulbs will need replacement every 6 to 7 months
