Bulb pump siphon

I’m after managing to break 2 bulb pump siphons by sucking up gravel into the pump. Now they won’t pump are these repairable if so how?

I never liked these things.
Not to mention the slow draining due to the restriction on the bulb.
Good ol fashioned mouth siphon never lets me down and a 1/2" hose can drain 5 gallons in less than a minute @ a 2ft head.

Have you removed the hoses from the bulb yet?

Yep removed them. Have all the gravel out I think. I’m assuming the gravel messes up the inlet valve
