Bulging eye on tang:(

Hey all,

I hand to transport this Dussumerie tang about 8 hours. I caught her quickly with a hook and line, but had to coax her out of the rocks. I transported her in a styrofoam box with a air pump/stone and a small heater, while monitoring the temperature.

She did not look like this when I boxed her. She is acclimating to her new tank currently. What the heck happened and how do I fix it?

Likely injury. I'd keep a close eye on it at this point.

Plain USP Epsom salts at 1 tablespoon per 5 gallon of tank can help with the swelling.
If the swelling does reduce after dosing the Epsom salts after 5-7 days, the treatment next would be Erythromycin for 7-10 days.
