bulk di resin

Be careful when buying more resin than you can use in a 3-6 month time period. Resin has a shelf life even when packaged and stored properly.
I have found by buying better resin, each refill or cartridge lasts longer, removes more TDS and actually costs less in the long run. I used to buy in bulk from places like BRS or even Resin Depot but found I could only get 150 gallons per 20 oz refill before the TDS started creeping up. The other issue was I had to divide it up in 20 oz portions and reseal it using a Seal A Meal vacuum sealer then store it in the refrigerator or it would dry out and lose its cation and anion electrical properties and was no longer effective.

When I switched to Spectrapure resin I got 830 measured gallons out of my very first cartridge and over 1000 gallons ever since. Thats many times longer than all the previous resins lasted no matter who the source or how well I stored it. Huge cost savings as well as a big landfill saving since I dispose or much less now.
