Issues with leaking, from unknown area...have tightened, reassembled, tightened again...bought the 220 used, by one person and worked for him...sat for a while...there had been foam around it...took that off, which helped slightly, but it’s still leaking...wife is ready to scream if she sees another leak...Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Leaking from where?

Try replacing the bulk head. It looks fairly old.

you may want to completely replumb with new bulkheads. who knows how old that rubber gasket is. gives you the chance to add bulkheads for easier maintenance down the road as well as peace of mind.

Yea did the presser one but tho I could not do the overflow bc it was glue together but now that it it part going to try replacing the bulkhead s

New bulkheads, makes sure the glass inside the overflow is clean and that the gasket sits right under the flange. Not sure what that white material is in the picture of the underneath of the tank?

I agree with the others. You can see what looks like buildup on the gasket between the bulkhead. I would replace and plumb it again.

The guy had foam there I rid the foam out and it still leaking

Ok, looked to me like the bulkhead nut was screwed down onto the foam - which is not the correct way to do it. Remove enough of the foam so that the bulkhead nut can be torqued down against the bottom glass (hand tighten then a 1/4 turn max with a wrench). Gasket under flange inside tank and it should not leak.

I did that and it still leaking so now going to replace the bulk head
