Has anyone had any problems with BRS supporting there equipment they sell. I have a 150gal RO/DI system and that when I started the membrane flush it would flush for about two minutes then would stop when I called the support staff at BRS they said maybe it was the Auto Shut Off Valve and they sent me new one out. I installed it on Friday the 12th after I installed it i got no water out of the waist water line so i called the support line for help. The person I talked with asked if the in and out marked on the valve was the same direction as the one replaced and it was and asked me what color the lines hooked up to the four connections to the valve and said they were hooked up correct. He then said he wanted me to take pictures and email them to him why I am not sure he said he would look for the email and maybe get back to me that day but probable would be next week. Being that I called as soon as they opened Friday morning you would think they could get back to me that day I told him that I needed to make DI water for my ATO for may tank over the weekend he didn't seem to care. I spent six hundred dollars for this system with the booster pump and all the extra stuff that went with it you think they could at least work with me that day but being Friday they must not work on that day. I live out in rural Florida and now don't know what to do about ATO water not sure if distilled water can be used from the store or just us tap water and hope for the best. I so regret now buying from BRS should of went with a company that sells nothing but RO/DI systems they would probably would be able to support there equipment better and not guess what is going on.

Sounds like you’re getting pretty good support IMO. They sent you a replacement part (assuming for no charge). They spent time on the phone with you diagnosing the problem and offered for you to send them a picture so they could verify everything looks good. I can’t say I’m surprised they would need time to call you back, they’re a pretty busy place.

I’ve only had an issue with one of their products and they worked with me to make it right with zero hassle. They’ve gotta take the right steps to make sure they’re providing appropriate service but I’ve found them to be very accommodating.

All that aside, let’s see if we can’t help you with your RODI. Maybe something else is just hooked up wrong from the start and the auto shut off was just an incidental issue.

couldn't be hooked up wrong from the start I've been using the RODI unit for with no problem and all the sudden it stopped flushing you think they would know there product well enough to know what would cause it to stop flushing. IF the Auto shut off valve is hooked up correct they should of been able to give me some idea of what it could of been other then to left me waiting till next week. I agree they are a busy place but i am also a customer.

If you have the product (Final blue out) line valved off it will eventually build backpressure while the flush valve is open and running.
So make sure you have your product line in a bucket or something while running your flush valve and then toss the water.

Distilled water is fine to use in the meantime. In fact I always keep some around for emergencies.

Ah. I thought it was a new unit. I’d take all the output lines off and make sure nothing is clogged. If you work backwards you might find the problem spot.

You could also route around the ASOV to make sure that isn’t still faulty.

I was wondering if it was the reverse membrane flush valve since I'm not getting any waist water out the waist line but I no nothing about how this works that why I needed BRS to call me back just going to have to wait till I can get someone that figure out what can make it not put out waist water. As many as they sell you would think they would have a support team just for the RODI systems and know them inside and out.

The flush valve is just a diverter. In one position the water goes straight out. In the other position it goes to the flow restrictor.

Start by taking the flush valve off. Does water come out? It should come out very fast.
