Bulk Reef Supply Hearer won’t stop beeping?

I just set up my tank and went to turn on the heater, followed all the instructions that came with the heater and controller and set it up. I set the temp to 79 and the differential to .5 degrees. Right now it says the probe temp is 77.8. It won’t stop beeping. I’ve set the differential to be as high as 5 degrees and it won’t stop, I’ve even set the target temp to the temperature the probe is currently reading. It won’t stop beeping.

has anyone run into this? I’m going mad hahaha

Call BRS, they should be able to help you. Since it’s a new tank just unplug for now.

Is it a low temp alarm? Does it just need to come up to temperate?
