How man of you cats mix your own 2 part? I’ve been using BSR calcium Chloride for calc and soda ash for Alk. I see they also have sodium Bicarbonate and was wondering if anyone uses it or mixes it with the the sodium carbonate (soda ash) and if they do what the benefit was. Like I said I’ve only been using sodium carbonate and Corals are doing good but didn’t want to miss something.

The only benefit of using a sodium bicarbonate version is that the pH raising effect is smaller (it is actual a slight lowering) than when using sodium carbonate.

Unless you have pH as high as you want (or is already too high), I'd use sodium carbonate.
