Bulkhead for water changes

So.....I drilled my tank, 2 over flows (only one in the photo) a centre return, but got trigger happy with the drill and added a 1/2 inch drainage bulkhead to make water changes easier! Which is the one at the bottom of the tank with strainer.

Im now a little worried that this was a bad idea and not sure if the 1/2 bulkhead will hold up under the pressure etc.

Has anyone else done this or have advice around it?

Hi, yes I have done before, small tank 20 or 25 tall really thin glass, on larger tanks just add drain into plumbing
think you'll be fine JMO... :)

Bulkhead will handle the pressure with no problem. The potential issue you have to plan for is if, at some point, it decides to start to leak. Remedy for a leaky bulkhead is to remove it, clean the glass and gasket, and reinstall. Clearly that is much more problematic if that process requires draining the tank.
