I have this bulkhead, that barb fitting, I've noticed a tiny wiggle when I insert it, was wondering if it was ok?
Was also wondering if using PVC Glue Solvent Cement Uni-Weld 2200 was good?
Thank you

I personally would never use a glue in bulkhead on a tank.

If you need to remove the bulkhead for god knows what reason, you'll have to cut out all the plumbing.

If it were me, I would use a screw in bulkhead, and have a union on it for easy removal.

Either way, you'll have to glue that piece in so it does not move. The wiggle without the glue is normal.

Never said I would glue bulkhead to the tank ;)
(It's from overflow box)
It’s same problem if glued to tank or overflow box. Once you glue it in the future if you need to remove then you will have to cut it out because the nut will not unscrew past the glued in barb fitting. This is why it is recommended to use bulkhead that has threads instead so you can just unscrew if needed

The issue I run into this is the difference between brand and threads, I have a couple of ones that could be screwed but don't fully match, it's annoying grrr.

Initially, I wanted to screw but run into different problems.

By the way, I'm not using PVC pipe, using vinyl, so no union.

If it was me I would just buy new bulkheads and fittings that actually work together instead of trying to monkey something together to work. But hey I guess there’s no fun and doing something right

Gluing it in with a union can also be done when removing u can cut the bulkhead and reuse the union by heating up the joint to soften the glue up. The threaded barb fitting and bulkhead are the wrong connections the barb fittings needs to be a male threaded barb fitting.

I live in Canada.
If money wasn't an issue I would order on usplatic, made a quick search and there's so much little thing that seems interesting and it so much cheaper!
Trying my best using what I have.

Any local hardware store should have that fitting.
By the way any updates on your you tube channel?
