I would say silicon is your best bet if the double gasket doesn’t work, sucks I have been in this situation before and it’s no fun, make sure to tighten down the bulk heads well

Here it is.
If this does not work...
Nothing will.

Now I wait at least 3 days for the silicone to cure.
This is what i did with a 150 xt and it worked over two years until i sold tank. I cut the pipe when i sold and left bulkhead in place

Hey, if the tank is new and there was a chip on the inside from it being drilled, did you contact manufacturer? It seems like you went through a lot of trouble for a tank that should be replaced. But then again, I don’t know any details. Just curious.

This tank is HEAVY! It took 5 people to get it in the house. It was an absolute nightmare getting it on the stand.
No way was I going to go through all of that again.
This tank is 5ft long x 30 inches deep x 24 inches wide. It's eurobraced. It has 1/2 inch thick glass.

Fixing is waaaaaaaay easier than replacing.

Knowing that I would do the same.
