So I've read the stickies, and I'm going with bulkheads that are double threaded. My question is, what's the best way to handle the bulk head connection under the tank for ease of service later?

I want to hard plumb everything, but have flex coming from my return to the hard returns in the tank.

Here's what I was thinking...

Threaded PVC about 4" to a union, to a 90 degree to the middle of my stand where the to returns join together (dual return) with a barbed T for flex.

I always put unions under my bulkheads so I can move the sump or redo plumbing without moving the bulkheads.

That's what I'm thinking. Threaded PVC into the bulkhead, 90 degree about 4" down, then a union.
