Bulkhead question

I am plumbing a 40 breeder and was wondering if I should go with 1/2 or 3/4 drains... And suggestions?

IMO, I would go with 1" drains as the smaller diameters ones always seem to clog more easily.

I'd go with a 700 gph Glass-Holes kit that has 1 1/2" drain.

You always want to go with the largest size possible....you can install a gate valve underneath to control how much actually is draining.
