Just wanted to leave a post and say that this skimmer is an awesome option for a nano tank. Most say they are not needed, however i am of the mindset that more aeration as well as consistency in parameters such a small tank is better than the fluctuations resulting from water changes. The product is great, the parts seem made of great material, and the microbubbles are microbubblin. ill keep up on any issues

Do you have a picture of how you have it set up, I have a IM Fusion 15 gallon AIO.

It fits perfectly off the side of my 14 gallon innovative marine…put it there because Iwould rather it overflow on the side (into a bowlwith a towel underneath) than onto all my power supplies in the back

Thank you for posting this - just had a bubble magus mini Q go down and I wanted to switch brands. Had this skimmer eyed up, same tank. If you don’t mind me asking, what is the fuge light you’re using?

I'm looking at this skimmer for my Nuvo 10, and I was wondering... It will fit on the back in that same chamber, right? How much room (side to side) is there to move it around back there?

I really wanted something that would go in the second chamber, but with my light mount (Hydra 26HD on a rigid HMS mount) there is just no way. With ATO sensor, return pump and skimmer in that last chamber, it's going to be tight, but it looks like it's doable.

I was thinking that an automated roller in the first chamber might negate the need for a skimmer, but the PH benefits of the skimmer will (I think) be a better option since the tank is going to be packed with SPS.

its a hang on back model. it only hangs into the chamber about 1.5 inches. this is exactly how i have mine situated (ato + skimmer + return)

Yeah, I meant the width of the intake tube/return part that actually goes inside the tank. Just wondering how much side-to-side movement there was before that part would hit the baffle and outside glass.

I will add... I am typically opposed to "hang on back" anything, but there is just NO room in these little IM tanks! :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Just wanted to say I freaking love this thing, I agree - don't love the look of the hang ons but it's a beast and it does a really good job pulling stuff out of the water.

It just went off sale again. Time to wait for the next flash sale.

I’d probably have to take a photo to be accurate. I’m out of town right now but I can probably get one for you tomorrow evening.
