Long story short I have a yellow tank who has stressed and killed my potter angel and started to pick on my 2 lyretail anthias. Well, I had enough last night and after 2 hrs I finally caught him and put him in timeout(30 gal refugium) my question is once I get the fish I want added to my tank can I reintroduce him to my tank or is that a huge gamble?

Zebrasoma tangs can "forget" but a long-term change in behavior would only be achieved if he was no longer the alpha fish in the tank..

A social acclimation box may make the existing inhabitants get along, but future additions will be at risk so long as he sits as "alpha".

Well... My plan was to slowly stock the fish I want in my tank and keep the tang in the refugium until then. I just don't want to deal with this issue later on. I really don't want to get rid of this fish. He is an awesome addition to the tank. The tank is a 90 gal bow by the way
