Can anyone tell me what this bump below the mouth of my foxface is? It's white, if you can't tell from the picture. It developed pretty quickly, or at least it was noticeable relatively quickly.

Looks like either a cyst or a growth from an injury that healed weird.

So if it's either of those there's no real cure other than surgical removal or do nothing?
I wouldn't surgically remove anything as it could lead to bacteria and/or infection

If it's a cyst, it may contain thousand of spores that could, if the cyst burst or is punctured, release the spores into the tank. Best possible result is the cyst is absorbed by the fish's body.

You may want to consider isolating the fish in a QT until the cyst resolves itself.

Either way boosting the fish's immune system will certainly help. Adding Beta Glucan could give the fish's immune system a big boost. Mixing it into a blend of frozen fish cubes works pretty good. Here's the one I use:

Hi I’m new here!
How’s the foxface? Did you manage to get rid of the lump?
Only reason I ask is I’ve got up this morning and my foxface has grown the same lump

regards
Went completely away and hasn't come back. I've had him about a year now and all he is is the biggest pig. I need to get a picture of how fat he is. Great fish.
