One of my helfrichi firefish has a bump coming from its mouth. I don't think my lps could've stung it. I don't want to lose it if it is sick. What can I do for it? Sorry for the bad photos

Tough to see in the photos, a short video might be clearer. Is the fish still feeding?

It's hard to get a video, but I just saw that whenever it would open its mouth, there is a small white strand that extends like a tongue for a second and goes back into its mouth when it closes. I'm extremely worried now. I have two clown fish, but they don't bother anyone and are peaceful. I do have a watchmen goby and pistol shrimp and a yellow clown goby as well

Thanks for the video, I could see it in that.

Is the fish feeding? If so, I wouldn't worry, it does look like just a flap of skin. If it isn't feeding, there whatever it is could be impairing the feeding response, and that is very serious. However, this isn't a symptom of any communicable disease that I know of, so no treatment would be warranted I think.
