Hi all,

Once again having issues with a new fish. A foxface, about 10cm long. He's been in my QT for a little over a week now. In day 5 of copper treatment. Copper levels at 2.4ppm. No measurable ammonia. Temperature at 25c.

As of this morning he's covered in bumps. Any idea what this is?

These are mucus cones and often associated with ich or skin irritation. If you are running copper in this tank which appears to be a QT tank- what type of copper and treatment level is this tank at?
Is fish eating?
Is it breathing normal or rapid?

I agree with vettguy - however, it has certain characteristics of turbellarians. However, they do seem larger than usual fur turbellarians. I would watch for worsening, more spots, etc.

Just wondering what can cause this. Is this common during treatment or should I be on alert when this happens to a future fish in quarantine?
