Bumps on hammer polpys

Hey everyone, not sure if this is a critter but figured I’d get some opinions just in case. Had this hammer for about a month and it’s looked healthy and has had good Polyp extension. But I noticed these little bumps on the polyps not sure if it’s a deformity or some sort of flat worm. Doesn’t look to much like a flat worm to me. Would love to here other’s thoughts, thanks

New polyps grow from the skelton- these are NOT new polyps. I suspect debris or flatworms. Observe if these are slowly moving. If so, you will want to dip them to see if they fall off.
Will need closer pics to see if it can be better identified.

Is it under every tentacle or just those few? If its under all of them its just a part of the coral but not new polyps sadly. If its only on a few it may be something to worry about. Are you able to watch them over the course of a day and see if they move around at all?

So they don’t look to be moving, the only thing that is kind of odd is that they’re not on every polpy but majority, and they’re in the same spot no lower or higher on each polpy. And there’s only one spot per polpy on the whole thing. No polpy has two spots. Working on the pictures sorry I appreciate the help.

those are completely normal. Its just part of the coral. Mine have them too.

These are NOT normal and I even looked at mine and none of them have this and may be either bite marks from pests such as nudibranch (could also be at LFS you got them from) or water issue such as elevated salinity, temperature, water flow, and phosphate levels. keep an eye on them to assure more heads are affected. If so consider a dip. Assure not too much water flow which can stress them

Going through pictures and found a picture from April 2nd and they look exactly the same. It’s looked pretty good since I got it and has been eating well.

Appreciate the help I’ll keep an eye on it no it. No signs of receding tissue or bleaching of any sort. Hopefully it continues to thrive.

Yeah mines been fine too. Theyve both grown quite a bit so whatever it is doesnt seem to be bothering them. Ive only got 2 heads that i got from 2 very different places that I can guarantee don’t have any pests and they both have them in the same spot. So who knows.

I also would like to chime in and say that I believed that I had pests on my hammers since they too had these black spots. I dipped it a couple of times but nothing fell off. Seems normal since my hammers are open all the time.

White spots on hammer polyps

Hard to get a picture, coral isn’t covered in them but has tiny white dots on about a quarter of the polyps. Hard to take a picture, look almost like sugar grains. I was thinking maybe mucus but they’ve been on it all night. Any ideas what this may be and if it’s a problem in the making or not...

Hammer coral with spots

I just noticed each tentacle of my walling hammer coral has a white dot on them. The dots are half way up and don't seem to move. Here's a picture
