Today while abserving the fish on my QT I noticed something strange on my tang it seemed if it had spot/bumps/scratch marks on it . We got this fish along with royal gramma from our LFS Absloutey fish, NJ last week, I know they run copper on there tanks .

FYI: My tang has been going near my royal gramma's cave lately and my Rg does not like visitors ! So possibly our RG is biting our tang ,its just a guess.

Look in the picture where you can see on the lower part of the fish with scratch/bumps

#MODS this should be moved to disease forum I think.

I see corals in the tank so assuming there is no copper, those bumps look like ich to me

Likely Ich and the scratches you see are from it rubbing or itching against objects for relief.
you can start with freshwater dip but will need to QT and treat with copper and add vitamins to its' food.

Post all of your water readings, including ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, salinity.

This is in the QT with Royal Gramma, both swim fine and RG does not show any such sign,
This is a QT running with no medication. I did a 8 min fresh water dip and put it back, will monitor and update.

You quarantine and medicate with corals in the tank? I assume your corals die a lot too?

Did you see any sesame seed like objects at the bottom of your fw dip container? If so then they are flukes

before i added the fish last weekend, a week past i moved some frags form DT to QT for observation, not many and my QT is non-medicated as of yet and I am not sure if I want to medicate anytime unless i see signs, as I mentioned before the LFS had this fish in tank where they run copper. Surprisingly the coral pulsing xenia and GSP extend better in QT rather than DT, I don't know why

I tried to look for any and didn't see any except just only one seasme seed size

Honestly, In my opinion, I think its either Ich or lymphocystis

Just an update, after i did 8 min FW dip, now it looks fine, no spots.

Again yesterday I see similar spots but not the same area, I think i have to start copper power just to be safe I think. have to order all those now.

Would Anthias, firefish and Royal Gramma would be fine in copper for my future QT that i plan?
