Hi,

I recently ran my FOWLR tank through a 30 day Cupramine treatment to get rid of a stubborn ick presence. Since then I noticed my Naso tang has a cluster of white growths behind his pectoral fin. Any ideas what this is? It doesn't seem to be affecting him (good appetite and active swimming).

Looks like it has some spots on its body as well? I often see lymphocystis do that- growths on the fins, and then corresponding growths on the body nearby. Lymphocystis is a self-limiting viral infection. It almost always goes away after 6 weeks or so, there is no treatment.

Yes it is on the body and that's what struck me as odd. But your explanation makes sense. Thanks! I'll see what happens with time.
