Bumps

this guy got these bumps on him. Look alot bigger in person. It's the bumps at the top right area of it. How do these guys show signs of growth.

It does look like growth to me. My favias can grow very similar to that. Some time it may be a premature sign of asexual reproduction, this is when a part of the colony buds off from the parent to form a new colony. To the sight of it you have a healthy colony there.
