That’s next thing to a house fire ..
I would look at the reason and cause for why this is happening ,

Looks like they got wet and burned up. I would throw that away. Do you have drip loops on your cords? I'd unhook everything and plug them one by one into a gfci outlet and see if it blows.
No I don’t have drip loops never heard of that , yes I threw that out along with the heater and wave pump

drip loops are life savers. The cord should always go down then loop back up again, that way water travelling down the wire can't get back up.

EDIT: Its also a good idea to elevate the power bar, that way in case of accidental flood, the power bar is not on the floor.

This is a good article on power strips also.

You should be good to go then. Water probably flowed down the cord and when it fried the plug, it zapped your fish. Another thing that you should look into is a ground probe. It'll prevent stray voltage in the tank hopefully keeping you and your fish safe. I think it'll also help blow the gfci faster in case of an electric failure "exploded heater" in the tank. Good luck.

Thank you will look into that

A few things I've installed after a similar incident: waterproof outlet cover, waterproof surge suppressor, waterproof box. All pretty inexpensive from Amazon. Worth the piece of mind to know there won't be an electrical fire in the middle of the night.
