Burning arm

I am always changing my rock scape in my tank and when I take it out my arm can be burning and sometimes itchy. What would be causing that?
Sensitive skin/allergic reaction.

saltwater could just cause irritation if you have sensitive skin. I almost always have gloves on when I have hands in the tank.

Will start using gloves. Is it just better because it keeps tank clean form what’s on your hands

For a few years, i had the same issue and its a reaction to one of the ingredients such as zinc, magnesium, iron, boron and such
If this is the case, i recommend AquaGloves which is under $20

Ok thank you for the help

Could be just tiny scrapes from rock/coral or maybe bristle/fire worms. Or maybe you have some allergy to something in the tank.
I'm SUPER allergic to bristleworms, I get massive welts when the brush against me (does this mean I always wear gloves? No. Am I a bit stupid? Yes)
