This long tunnel seems to be growing on the live rock. Definitely new, because it is crossing separate pieces of LR, going over the top of one and into the sand bed. Haven't seen any worms associated with it, but it is an office tank so I don't see what happens with it at night. It is quite large for a 10g tank. Anyone recognize this type of structure? Thanks!

You are going to have to check the tank at night. It could be a bobbit worm. I just went through that ordeal. When I did research some make sand tubes like that. Have you had any corals get attacked?

Well, that's not good. Maybe I can simulate night by turning off the lights in the office and closing windows/doors during the day?

I have half of the TBS live rock in my home nano and also saw a suspicious worm with spikey antennas...
