I would like to know if the a Copper Band and a Airiga Butterfly would get along in the same tank. I have a 64 corner tank with plenty of rock work. I would quarantine them for 6 weeks minimum. Thought about putting a divider in the QT tank to let them get used to each other but decided I should do my research first[emoji1360]

Longnose and CBB* not airiga

These two fish, yellow longnose and cbb will get along just fine especially if introduced to the tank at the same time. However, they both can grow to more than 8 inches so a 64 gallon tank may be too small for them as they grow up.

I don't have a problem with that but copperbands have a large personality and every fish is not the same.

In my opinion the tank is too small for two butterflies, but they may well get along if the tank were larger.

Thanks for the info! Has anyone had a problem with them eating LPs?

No, a copperband or long nose butterfly will not eat your corals.

They did however pick off aiptasia and other pests. But not all do.

Overall both make great pets with pretty cool personalities. The long nose ate from my hand over time.

Water quality has to be top notch as I have found out the hard way once. They are not hardy fish IMO.
