Was in a mixed reef for over 6 months without much harm. Small zoa frags couldn’t handle its frequent foraging between the polyps, large colonies were unfazed. Never seemed to harm the polyps directly, just caused them to close up as the burgess picked for pods. The burgess would be obsessed with rock flower anemone when they were first placed in the tank, I would simply put a dead acro skeleton over them so they could anchor in place without the burgess picking at them. After the first 24hours they were left alone and the acro skeleton was removed. Burgess also decimated pest anemone better than any copperband or matted file I have ever seen.

New burgess and Prognathodes aculeatus are in QT now. Will be going into my mixed reef display assuming they make it through. The prognathodes is quite a bit more difficult to condition than the Roaops have been.

Mine were in a fowlr. They were banners, Pakistani, pearlscale and latticed bfs. Once tried cheap mushrooms, my Pakistani went to town with them, never tried again. Had them for 2 to 3 yrs then I had to move....sold them all

Pacific East Aquaculture had two of Biota Milletseed's last week. Not sure if he still has them but reasonable priced. Video is up of them eating too.

Anyone have any luck getting them to eat pellet food? Eating frozen good.

All of mine already eating pellets at the store xcept Pakistani. I know, u hv to be very patient to get bfs that's eating pellets at the store, but it makes huge difference in their survival rate. But I took chances w the Pakistani, couldn't resist it....but eventually took pellets, maybe following the others eating them. Ime, 2 to 2.5 inches is a good size for them to take pellets. The bigger they are, the harder they would want to change diet...

My banner is eating frozen pe mysis, plankton and anything that looks close. No pellets and tried fish eggs with not luck. I think I'll pick up some lice clams this week. Where can you get live black worms?

I have a Double Saddle. It totally destroyed the few corals I had... including a frag of Hammer. Not immediately but a week or so later. He was great at devouring aptasia though.
