Butterfly in QT with Dark Patch

Hello,

I need help identifying this dark spot.

This is an Aruiga Butterfly that I have had since Tuesday. I am QT her and a Regal Angel and doing TTM every 36 hours to see if I can combat any potential velvet or ich. (I know this is not proven for velvet). They both look healthy and are eating. Yesterday this what was the butterfly looked like early morning.

I started the trifecta of ABX suspecting bacterial issue.

Later in the day yesterday you couldn’t even see the spot.

Early this morning same dark spot. See picture. Right now it’s not there again or atleast it’s not noticeable.

Is this a health issue at all? Or is this something they can change when the are stressed or sleeping?

Looks like stress/sleeping camo. I think he’s ok with this.

Thank you. I hope that’s the case. I started the trifecta of ABX but now I’m wondering if I should stop. They are on day 5 of TTM as well.

I personally don’t use ABX unless needed. I would stop and continue on with TTM. Don’t forget though to feed Metro or GC+Focus laced food for 14 days to cover internal parasites and after copper Prazi for flukes.
