Buy Corals online?

One thing I learned long ago...In the reef tank hobby if you arent willing/cant afford livestock losses, your in the wrong hobby...Ive ordered 100's of coral/fish/inverts online with varying degrees of sucess....Liveaquaria.com's prices are high, but their professionalism cant be denied....best advice; order on a day that you know the weather is going to be reasonably warm(45-85), so if their is a delay, u still might get an intact order.

I'd wait till it comes out full to judge completely... there are some really sick shrooms you can't find at any LFS... and in the right conditions the grow quick... that said.. I have yet to buy live anything from an online suppler.... but with all the eye cany going on here, it won't be long before I do.

I have my first on it's way from MyFrags.com. A super cool chalice but aside from that, how could we with Carlos right here in town. He beats all online prices, can get most all of it and you don't pay shipping. ;) There are a few places I'd like to try though :)

Jumping in on this thread, I have made a couple of orders recently from saltwater fish.com. They are very kook folks. Have great deals and lots of bogo deals. They have a page of free shipping with $89 order. Basically buy 89$ off of that page and whatever else your order ships for free.

I've found you get better deals then the local stores here in middle tn. Noting bad bout our Los but they are just pricey. No gaurante with the Lfs but when you buy online u got 14 days
