Buy or build

Ok so I’m starting to have too much **** in my tank. IF I decided to do a sump for my 40g breeder FOWLR , would you just throw the 2 media reactors after the protein skimmer and block of marine pure? Or would you just buy a prefab’d sump.

I personally love to build stuff am currently looking for the right container to build a sump I did years ago and it was very satisfying to me.if you ehave the parts I'd build plus with all that s going on in the world it'd b a great time and mind wasting.just a thought.great reefingR

If you’re not into DIY stuff. Glasscagesconverts their normal tanks into dumps for like 100 bucks I think or close to it.

The next time I buy a commercial sump will be the first time. Plenty of ways for me to waste $$ in this hobby, buying a premade sump isn’t one of them. Does requires some rudimentary DiY skills though.

I have a 7" filter sock, skimmer, carbon reactor, carx, heater, return pump, 3 liters of eheim substrate pro in a bag, and a 350gph quiet one to keep it detrius free in my 40 breeder with no " baffles" sump.

you may have mentioned this but do you have corals? Or just fish?
