What do you guys think? Will be getting it this weekend. For him to have a bad reading on the trident would I just recalibrate it? And since he hasn’t been using it will it still be useful?

This. Although, you may have to piece it together and hassle with shipping. Also worry with being sniped on the purchase due to buying through a forum. I'm cheap, but If you want it in one swoop, it's not a terrible deal if it's local.

Yes but a bad reading on the trident can likely be fixed with a good cleaning and calibration. Plus let’s be honest the trident is convenient but it’s never been the most accurate testing device IME as long as it’s somewhat consistent is about the best you’ll get.
All of the stuff new would’ve cost just over $2,600 so you’re paying just under 50% and I guarantee if you buy those components individually used you’ll pay over 50% of new cost.

Used the apex sells for around $500, trident for $400, dos is $250, ddr is $150, wavs are $100 each, 1link is $75, ATk is $125.
These are rough estimates of course but to buy it separate would be around $1600 give or take.

Thanks. I was honestly asking the question because I'm not that familiar with the Neptune products/pricing. Appreciate the breakdown
