Hey fellow reefers. I had a great topic I wanted to bring up.
Do any of yal every have or had buyers regret or remorse? Let me clarify. I'm not talking about spending a crazy amount of money that you wish you didn't... or bought a fish or item you immediately want to return. I have a couple examples.
I had a Toby puffer that was 100% parasite. I loved my girl. One day I decided to introduce corals into my system which was never the initial plan. Ms. Toby went after them and I gave her multiple chances even put her in timeout lol. Long story short I fished her out and took her to the only lfs that would buy fish from customers.
My problem or regret comes in where I knew for a fact my lfs tanks were full of parasites just by looking at the other fish in the tanks and from previous purchases. And I decided to leave her there because I had nowhere else to put her.
Another way to ask about this is with selling and trading fish and coral.
Does any coral or fish seller feel any remorse or regret selling live animals to someone they don't know? What if their parameters are crap. What if they just want to use it as bait. Do yal ever feel bad knowing you had a super healthy happy specimen and that his/her next destination might be a jail cell or a swamp?.
I would love to hear yals thoughts or any experiences yal have had with having something super healthy in your possession and letting it go to a location with worse conditions given your circumstances.
