I currently have a Planet Reef 120 (48x25x25). On this tank I am running two Radion XR30 blues. I'm getting ready to put all new flooring in my house. There for I have to take the tank down for the new flooring. I'm thinking since I have to take it down, maybe I should buy a bigger tank. I'm looking at buying the Planet Reef 234 ( 60x30x25).

So now I'm trying to figure out what lighting I need to buy for a 30'' deep tank. I'm wondering if I use the Radion Xr30's and mount them long ways from front to back. Do you think I can get away with a Radion XR15 in the middle? Since the Planet Reef tanks have their overflows in the middle of the back glass. Then again do I need to buy another XR30? My tank is a mixed reef, so I don't need absolute coverage. Actually I need more soft spots for the LPS and softies. Or is there another lighting setup that would be better for this size tank?

Pair of new xr15’s will probably be fine. You don’t need high light to reach every seam. Just place corals where appropriate. Easy peasy

I have a 60x30x30, also w a middle return. I run 5 kessil a360's and it's a lot. I had 4x 60" T5's on there too but have since turned them off, par was too high. I think if you keep the 30s and add a 15 you'll be fine so long as you don't keep sps in the middle bottom. The first 24" of the tank will still get good sps par. Your bigger challenge will be getting a good scape setup that goes fairly high.

This is an option, this is an 8x3x2' sps reef. At 40% per channel I get 300 par evenly across the bottom. Lights 17 inch off the water.

Nice lights, but what are they?, are they DIY? or are they manufactured from someone?

They are the ledzeal.com
Mirage x200 superblue.
23.5"×9.5"
There's also the x300 which is 35.5 inch long and has a 3rd cluster of leds.
Wifi app controlled you order direct from the manufacturer.
Email them ( website kinda sucks lol) they send you the price with breakdown, light price, shipping price ect. Cuts out any middleman!
Lit my 8x3x2 400g for less then 2 radion xr30 which I would have needed 8 of to match par and spread that these 4 provide.
