I'm looking for good advice for buying fish online. Im in a very populated area however the only LFS near me is pretty far and has insane mark ups. I'm thinking about buying fish online but am very skeptical. Please feel free to recommend your favorite vendors who take great care of the fish they ship as well as why else you might like them. Any recommendations of what I can do and should be aware of before buying fish online in a structured format is greatly appreciated.

Hard for me to recommend Live Aquaria right now. I just got an order of 4 fish... 2 were DOA and the other 2 were in water that was 1.017 s.g. It created way too much work after they told me the fish would ship at 1.024. I'm looking for another online vendor to try.

I buy all my fish from bluezooaquatics. They seem to have the best prices and all fish have come in healthy. As for corals, I typically buy from WWC, reefers direct, and cherry corals.

Im done with them as well..........
4th time I've ordered a really cool specimen, usually a nice zoa colony or such, and then suddenly on shipping day they tell me it got"damaged" and give me a refund. I call BS on them and won"t be buying anything from them again.

I'm fortunate enough to live 15 mins from TSM, so I'm very spoiled in that respect.
What's pretty far and what's an insane markup? If your talking under an hour drive and an extra 20$ and the fish at the store all look healthy I would buy from the lfs. I'm spoiled with numerous lfs's within a few miles and one I buy all my fish from and have had an excellent survival rate for many years and they are cheaper than online stores. Never bought a fish online so I'm no help in that regard.
