Buying New Tank. What do you think?

Hi all.

Shortly I will be purchasing the JBJ 30G rimless aquarium.

Before I buy it, is there anything I should know about this specific tank? Anything good or bad? Pros and cons of the JBJ 30G tank?

Do I need to get anything specific to add to this tank? Or is everything it comes with ok?

Has anyone used this website to order things? (Drsfostersmith.com) Is it reliable?

that's a good website. buy from them also.
Personally I've never had one of those tanks. But haven't really heard anything negative about them.

Ok so now im looking around at tanks 20g-30g and none of them come with lights!! Anyone can link me to a good one with lighting?

Yes , I have the jbj 30 gal.RL. But it does not come with lighting.

No lighting?? What in the world?! I had no idea they didn't come with lights

Well, I guess it makes you research some good lighting I suppose....but at the same time, what if it's a beginning reefer and they choose a horrible light not knowing that's it's a horrible light?? Atleast send some decent leds with it.
That's just me being confused is all. Why make such a nice tank and not send a light with it? Lol

An AI Prime would be a good LED solution for that JBJ 30g.

Hi Alex, I originally purchased the kessil 160 tuna blue , should have listened to some of some of the other members here who told me to buy the kessil 360

, I purchased the 360 after the fact from a member on R2R , used but you would have never know, it's like brand new!! Anyway I am using both, but that is my preference because of the variety of corals I have in my tank. There is at least one member I know of that also has the JBJ 30 gal. With just the 360 and is loving it, and he has some awesome zoas that he's growing. @Marktheshark83 has a build thread on here as well. I will tell you that I love my tank, just wish I'd gone bigger.

I did pm you back btw and if you have anymore questions about the tank pm me again, I'd be happy to answer as many questions about MY expierence with this tank.
