This July 4th I did some shopping for items I’ve really needed for some time. There are just so many options and choosing is hard. For every object you want, there are lots of posts calling it garbage, and lots singing their praise. This makes things exceedingly difficult.
First was a new Sump. I ended up with the Trigger Ruby Elite 36
Second was an LED fixture. I once had a Razor, an old one, that was attractive and did okay. After SOOOOO much reading/research, I got a deal on an Open-box Razor X 300 for my 48in tank. I looked into the Ethereal, the Recurve, The AP700, am others. I went with the razor x because of price, $799 and it fully covers my tank. I believe it provides the most Bang per buck. I was tempted by the AP700, I love Kessil, but there’s a chance I’d need two and that’s too much money.
I’d appreciate any thoughts, good or bad for what I’ve bought. Please, I beg you, DO NOT RECOMMEND OTHER HARDWARE. This was hard enough without any of that and the order has been placed. I’d love to avoid regret [emoji51]
