Looking at a WB 6026 that would make me the 3rd owner , bad idea idk you tell me.

very good deal, only catch is that I have to take all the livestock which doesn’t concern me.
It’s currently full and running , owner says he had it for 7 months and first guy had it for a year. Trying to confirm if this is true .

my only concern is that it has a chip. He told me when he bought it from the guy that it hit a countertop when he was moving it

Can someone give me some advice before I decide to grab this ?

I personally don’t like to buy used tanks because you never know the age and or how it was cared for( ie: left in a Florida garage for 10 years in the sweltering heat etc. ) that being said , the tank is holding water and if you can research the origin and care and the price is really good !!! Then it’s a judgement only you can make . 15 ish years ago I bought a brand new 150 gallon tank , I had it running for about two years before I had to sell it because I had to move and couldnt take it with me . I sold it to a friend And when he set it up the tank burst . Don’t know if it was set up correctly, level or anything like that but it told me that even a newer tank if moved to another location might have put stress on it in some way . I always had that tank sitting on 3/4 inch of foam . Hope that helps!!!

Well I think if he hit it on a countertop it could of put some stress on the seams , maybe I’ll pass. I would rather save and spend another $2000 to have the peace

It’s hard to say if the chip weakened the seam or not . It could be ok or not . But for me I get the piece of mind of it being new and hopefully some reasonable type of warranty . Not everyone can afford new . that being said if the price is low enough ???but then it’s also not just the tank we’re talking about . The damage to its surroundings is something to think about as well if it should fail .

Me and the wife decided it’s a no go and to save a bit more and get a new tank in 4-6 months
