Buying used water storage tanks?

Good morning all!

This morning I was doing my usual hunt around to find stuff to buy for my reef tank and cam across a guy selling 75 gallon vertical norwesco tank. I currently use brute trash cans to store my water so wanted something a little better. Question I have is there anything I should be concerned about? The guy said he used ti for his reef tank. I would buy one brand new no problem but the cost to ship it to me is insane as my tractor supply does not have them or they are stored outside. Plastic doesn't last very long in the heat here.

Are you anywhere near Tucson or Phoenix or Prescott?

If the tank was used only for reefing then it should be fine, but I am just the type of person that doesn't like to buy used equipment, to much of a worry wort.

If it was previously used for a reef tank, I wouldn't worry about it. Probably RO/DI, and SW. Same thing we all keep on hand.
