I believe it's a polychete worm of some type, but for species info you'll have to find someone much smarter than I. I'm still miffed Mercedes is Constructer's Champ AGAIN.
 
Looks like a polychaete worm epitoke - it's a sort of reproductive phase that swims about surprisingly briskly - and it's completely harmless. (Unless it grows up to be a bobbit worm . . . )

It was shooting back and forth in my return section, I don't know how it never went into the pump then I stuck my net in and it went in before I was ready. Crazy!
