I watched it live..... Is it just me, or did anyone else feel the same I did. I almost felt bad for Ryan and the staff at BRS. The guy that won sounded like he was asleep or 98 years old. No enthusiasm in his voice whats so ever. Almost painful to watch...... he stated he had a Nuvo 40 gallon I think..... Ryan asked if he was going to post the build progress.....and I didn't even hear him respond. It was very monotone and bland in nature. I'm happy for him that he won, but wow it was strange to say the least. I really hope the guy that won is happy and will enjoy the tank for years to come. They called 5 people and I believe he was the sixth to answer the phone. I think most the folks on the west coast were driving home from work, caught in bay area traffic, or having dinner with their families as it was 6:00pm in California. 5 people did not answer the phone call. LOL! Ryan said something about blaming his sister in law for the numbers picked......... not sure what that meant, I figured a computer would randomly pick an email address or phone number. I would think there would have been no human intervention involved in the drawing process at all.

I was hoping from more excitement from the winner. I would have been screaming for 5 minutes straight if it were me. Kept waiting for my phone to ring. Hopefully the winner is able to set up and enjoy and we get to see the progress.

He said early on that his sister had won a $10k Wayfair deal but she didn't answer so they moved to the next person. So we have her to blame for them doing it like that.

I agree the guy who won didn't sound excited at all! Didn't even seem like he cared. Lord knows with every call made I was staring at my phone in hopes of it ringing. That guy just seemed so blah almost annoyed he got called in the first place. Lucky him. Better luck next time to all
