Hey Everyone,
So i had a reefer 250 and moved to a new Waterbox frag 105. The tanks was cycled with new marco rock and new live sand using amonia and dr tims one and only. The tank is in its 4th week now and has been cycled. I added my corals ofcourse after dipping them and even dipping the skelotons of torches etc in hydrogen peroxide. I had a few days of diatoms that went away pretty quick. Now i see what looks like Byropsis in the tank? Is this normal and should i add reef flux to the tank? I am running a refiugium with cheato. The cheato was bought from a big fish store, could it be that the Byropsis came with the cheato?
Latest parameters from mastertronic:
Alk: 8dkh
Nitrate: 8 mg/l
Phosphate: 0.014 mg/l
Calcium: 483 mg/l
Magnesium: 1455 mg/l
I have a small cleanup crew and a tomisis tang at the moment.
